Saint Joseph’s Affordability

At Saint Joe’s, we believe that financial circumstances should not prevent a student from the benefits of a high-quality Catholic education. Saint Joe’s is committed to making sure a Catholic high school education is available to all students and families who seek this opportunity.

Generous financial aid is available to help us fulfill this commitment.

  • In fact, financial aid helps 55% of families at Saint Joe’s to cover some portion of tuition.

  • The average financial aid award per student is $2,000 per year.

  • While some families pay full tuition, no family at Saint Joe’s pays the full cost of their education. The full cost to educate each student every year is more than $14,000. The difference is made up by generous donors who believe in the mission of Saint Joe’s and the value of a high-quality Catholic education.

How it works

Applying for financial aid is easy. To ensure privacy and objectivity in the assessment of each family’s financial profile, Saint Joe’s uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, an online secure, third-party system. Qualifications for financial aid through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment are based on many factors, such as household income, family size, number of children in college or Catholic grade and high schools, number of working parents, the value of assets, household expenses and more.

special circumstances

Some families may have special circumstances that aren’t accounted for in the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. In these cases, Saint Joe’s staff works directly with families on a personalized tuition plan.

questions

Families have an opportunity for a personal consultation about financial aid on Accepted Students Day each year. In the meantime, if you have questions about financial aid, contact Katie Wheeler in the Saint Joe’s business office at (814) 808-6118.
